Siri 2.0 is rumored to be part of iOS 18.4. Its release will be seen during Spring 2025. Beta testing for Siri 2.0 starts on January 2025.

On-screen context awareness. Siri should recognize what's on screen to make Apple apps function much more precisely.


In-app actions: Siri will be able to edit a photo in both a first-party app and a third-party app or to manage files. Personal context: It will learn from user interaction to be able to answer the question on texts, emails, and other communications in a more personalized manner. ChatGPT integration: It will give Siri the access to much wider information so it will have much wiser responses.


User interface improvements

A new design will include a glow around the edges of the display when Siri is activated, providing visual feedback on its listening status.


"Type to Siri" lets users type requests instead of speaking, with suggested requests for quicker interactions.

Contextual Understanding:

Siri will remember what it has been asked previously so that follow-up questions may be asked without repeating information.


Expanded Language Support: New languages will be added throughout 2025, making it more accessible to a larger audience.
